Who we are

MamaFree Wellness Collective is a space for grounded, compassionate care across pregnancy, postpartum, feeding, and times of transition. Here, support is slow, intentional, and centered on the lived experience of the birthing person—honoring the body’s wisdom, autonomy, and need for safety at every stage.

As a full-spectrum doula, my work centers on steady presence and responsive support through pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and times of transition—including miscarriage, abortion, and loss. Care is emotional, physical, and informational, shaped by advocacy, informed choice, and deep respect for autonomy. This work is not only about birth—it is about holding space for the full range of reproductive experiences with compassion and care.

As a certified breastfeeding specialist and counselor, I offer feeding support that is practical, compassionate, and deeply respectful of individual choice. Whether you are preparing to feed, navigating early challenges, or seeking reassurance along the way, care is centered on confidence, consent, and attunement to your body and your baby. Feeding is instinctual—but it is also personal—and support should feel empowering, not prescriptive.

I’m I’esha Hayes—founder of MamaFree, mother of four, and lifelong advocate for bodily autonomy and compassionate care. My path into birthwork began through my own lived experiences, supported by doulas, lactation professionals, and midwives through three of my four pregnancies. That support shaped how I moved through vulnerability, strength, and transition—and showed me what it means to be truly held. Today, MamaFree is an extension of that knowing: offering care rooted in dignity, presence, and evidence-informed support.

That experience shaped how I now offer care—grounded, steady, and responsive to the real needs of the people I serve. MamaFree exists to provide support that feels respectful, nourishing, and safe—care that honors choice, lived experience, and the importance of being met with presence during life’s most tender transitions.

Welcome to your village. You don’t have to do this alone.

If you’re feeling drawn to this kind of care, a consultation is a gentle place to begin.
